| The Honor Fee System |

As mentioned previously, Ruehle Family Chiropractic is unlike any chiropractic office in the area and that includes our approach to paying for care. In many chiropractic offices, people will come in for care and will either be responsible for a large bill or will pay a portion of the bill and have their insurance company cover the rest. The problem with the first option is that due to the large bill accrued on the visit, many people are unable to go to a chiropractor except a few times per year. The second instance, much like the first will limit the amount of care that a person can receive. In both of these cases the individual will not be able to obtain the chiropractic care that they need and deserve. Chiropractic care should be affordable, so
that everyone can have the care they deserve for as much of their life
as possible. But how do you set a fee that is affordable for everyone?
We were unable to do this. Regardless of what fee was considered it was
not affordable for all people in every situation. As a result, a new
system for payment was chosen. This system allows everyone to pay
according to their means for care; not a penny less than they can afford
and not a penny more. This system is known as the Honor Fee System.
The way that the system works is that you pay according to your means for care; this was the only way to make care in the office affordable for everyone. It is really pretty simple when you consider it, you come in, make your payment, have your spine checked and you are on your way. The entire process is extremely efficient and will have you back on the road in as little time as possible. And yet, some still ask, “Why an honor fee?” What more could I offer? |
